Parliament’s Appointments Committee will today vet five Presidential nominees for various positions. They include four Deputy Ministerial nominees and the Administrator of the District Assemblies’ Common Fund. The nominees to be vetted are Ernest Attuquaye Armah, Emelia Arthur, Aquinas Quansah and Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi. The nominee for the position of Administrator of the Common Fund, Kojo Fianu will also appear before the committee. Minority Leader and Vice Chairman of the Appointments Committee Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said the first thing the members of the committee will be looking at is whether the nominees meet the constitutional requirement that every appointee must qualify to be a Member of Parliament.
