The township of Awiakrom near Enchi in the Western Region was thrown into a state of shock when news got round that a popular guy in the community had defied all odds, entered a classroom, pulled out a primary six girl and allegedly defiled her.
Samuel Takyi, popularly known as "Carlos Tevez" for his football prowess, unable to control his sexual drive, allegedly mustered courage and made his way into the classroom whilst the class was in session to call out a girl.
A news item monitored on Peace FM quoted its Western Regional correspondent as saying after picking the child from the Awiakrom D/A Primary School on the blind side of her teacher, who was said to be facing the blackboard then - Takyi and the girl were said to have found their way into Takyi’s room, which is close to the school.
Immediately the incident happened, the pupils were said to have alerted the teacher but he hesitated for while. He later decided to follow up when he realised that the girl had kept long outside.
To his surprise, he found the girl locked up in the man’s room and were allegedly having sex at a time she was supposed to be in the classroom.
With the help of a fufu pestle, the teacher broke the door to discover them allegedly hooked on to each other in a hot sexual bout.
Even though the teachers of the school are bent on lodging a complaint with the police, elders of the town have prevailed on the teachers not to report the case.
According to the correspondent, the man’s parents are very influential in the community, and are doing everything possible to prevent teachers from letting the law take its course.
It was also alleged this was not the first time the two had been caught engaging in the act.
