Government has lifted a curfew imposed on Tamale and its environs.
The seven hour curfew was imposed following violent incidents that greeted the acquittal and discharge by a High Court of suspects charged with the murder of the Ya-Na Yakubu Andani.
Angry Andani youth went on rampage in Tamale destroying NDC party offices.
One person died in the violence.
But Deputy Interior Minister, Kobby Acheampong, says the curfew has been lifted because the security situation has improved.
