CHANGE IN PUBLIC ACCESS TO VISA SECTIONThe Visa Section of the British High Commission wishes to announce to the general public that with effect from Monday February 6, 2012, public access to the Visa Section will be strictly by invitation. Any customer who wants to come to the Visa Section in relation to visa enquires must be issued an appointment letter either by the Visa Section or its Commercial Partner, VFS in Labone.The enquiry desk will however continue taking phone calls and can be reached on 0302-213200/250.Customers are reminded that applications for non-settlement visas should be submitted at least 15 working days in advance of intended travel. The arrangements for submitting applications remain unchanged; customers are further reminded that all supporting documentation that they wish to accompany their visa application should be submitted when their application is lodged.Access arrangements should they be required, for protocol purposes remain unchanged.Information on the visa process, the documents required and the current visa fees are available on the VFS or UKBA website:
