National Chairman of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Samia Yaba Nkrumah, says government must introduce job creation mechanisms to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians.
She said the current economic policies are not people oriented.
Addressing a news conference in Accra on the eve of May Day, Samia Nkrumah noted, it is unfortunate only 5 percent of graduates secure employment after school.
“We need to improve skills and manufacturing capacity in order to create more jobs for Ghanaians and end the de-industrialization process,” she said.
A leading member of the Party, Ekow Duncan, speaking on the registration related violence said both the ruling National Democratic Congress and opposition New Patriotic Party are guilty of the violence perpetrated at Odododiodo.
He urged Ghanaians to condemn politics of insults and hate speeches.
