Reverend Emmanuel Agyem-Frempong, Out-going Bantama District Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has advised leaders in society to eschew vices that would affect the country's socio-economic development.He noted that leadership was a calling and not an opportunity to exploit the people therefore leaders should be committed to activities that would promote the welfare of the people.Rev. Agyem-Frempong who goes on voluntary retirement was delivering the sermon at a thanksgiving service at Peyer Memorial Presbyterian Church at Bantama, Kumasi on Sunday.Rev. Peter Kofi Nyarko, a Minister of the church in Hamburg, Germany would succeed Rev. Agyem-Frempong.Rev. Agyem-Frempong, appealed to public and civil servants to be hardworking and patriotic for increased productivity and effective utilization of national resources.He advised church leaders to uphold honesty in their work and warned them against pride, indiscipline and exploitation of the poor and vulnerable in society.Rev.
