Keagan Petersen, winner of the 2012 Big Brother Africa reality show, was involved in a serious car accident Saturday, in Cape Town, South Africa.
Reports say the accident that saw his ash Mini Cooper badly mangled, also left one of his arms badly damaged.
It is feared that the arm might have been broken at three different places.
Keagan confirmed the accident via his Facebook page shortly after checking into the Constantiaberg Hospital in Cape Town.
He said: “So was in a big car accident this morning, arm shattered in 3 places... To the guy whoever you are driving on my side of the road i forgive you! Much love people enjoy your weekend!”
Keagan beat 34 housemates selected from 14 African countries to win the grand prize of US$300,000 after 91 days of intense competition at this year’s Big Brother Africa reality show.
The 2012 edition, dubbed Big Brother Africa StarGame, was the seventh season of the reality which enjoys huge viewership across Africa.
