Musician, entertainment pundit and political commentator, Kwame A Plus has announced the death of his father.
In a post on Instagram, A Plus revealed that his father passed away on Thursday, July 13, after he fell ill at dawn that day.
Dan, as he calls his dad, had been rushed to the hospital but unfortunately could not make it.
The political activist stated that he was taken aback by the news because, he had a conversation with his father the night before.
However, on Thursday, A Plus noted that he woke up to calls from family breaking the news to him.
“Yesterday I had a long conversation with my father. We spoke about politics and my cousin who has died of cancer in the US and is yet to be buried. I promised to see him on Friday and he said 'don't forget to bring some of the brown rice'."
“This morning I woke up to many missed calls from family members. Just as I was about to return some of the calls, my cousin called to inform me that my father popularly known as Dan, died at dawn after he fell sick and was being rushed to the hospital. Just like that....,” his post read.
Some celebrities and followers of A Plus sent him their condolences and some comforting messages.
