Ghana's amputee football team have qualified for the quarter-finals of the ongoing African Football Championship in Egypt after a 2-1 win over Kenya.
The victory against Kenya was secured with goals from Hamza Mohammed in the 14th minute and Brown Williams in the 31st minute.
Kenya managed to get a goal back in the 29th minute. Hamza Mohammed's impressive display earned him the Man of the Match award.
The Black Challenge came into the game as favorites, having already beaten Gambia and Algeria, scoring nine goals and conceding none.
They will face Tanzania in the next match on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
