Ghana international Abdul Mumin made his second consecutive league in the Spanish top flight over the weekend in Rayo Vallecano's game against Real Sociedad.
Mumin, who had made just four starts out of his 10 league appearances this season had never started two games in a row until Saturday, April 22.
The 23-year-old, having impressed on his last start in the win over Osasuna last weekend was handed a starting berth once again on Saturday.
Mumin played the entire duration of the game as Vallecano suffered their first loss with the Ghanian starting a game for the club.
In his previous four starts for the club, Mumin had helped them to one win and threw stalemates in the top-flight division.
The former Vitoria SC centre-back made three clearances and one successful tackle in the game while also winning all of the aerial duels he contested.
Mumin could be on the card for another start when Rayo Vallecano face Barcelona in their next league game.
