Ghanaian defender Abdul Mumin has been named Rayo Vallecano Player of the Month for September following his stellar performances.
The central defender's award comes on the back of an impressive run of form for the Spanish side in the league.
Mumin featured in four league games during the month under consideration scoring once and keeping one clean sheet.
The 26-year-old was on target in the 3-1 win over Osasun while he played a key role in the club's unbeaten run in September in the Spanish La Liga.
Rayo picked up one win and three draws with the Ghanaian starting all four games after returning from the international break.
