Academic City University has been ranked prominently in the 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking demonstrating its growing impact and commitment to academic excellence in Ghana and across West Africa.
The Times Higher Education Ranking evaluates universities on their research contributions, innovation, and academic excellence.
Academic City's ranking was a notable achievement, as it was only established seven years prior and is considered Ghana's top university for STEM and entrepreneurship.

In Ghana, the university ranked 6th overall, reinforcing its position as one of the top universities in the country. It also ranked 2nd in Resources and Finance, showing its ability to manage funds effectively while promoting academic excellence.
 Additionally, it secured 5th place in Student Engagement, stressing its commitment to building strong connections with students through innovative teaching and support.
The university also ranked 4th in Africa Impact, emphasising its significant contributions to sustainable development in Ghana, ahead of many other institutions.
These rankings show Academic City’s commitment to providing top-quality education, focusing on students, and promoting ethical and sustainable practices. With its creative teaching methods and strong partnerships, the university creates an environment that prepares future leaders, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers.
The university distinguishes itself through a unique model of education that prioritises experiential, contextual, unified, and extensional learning, all while emphasising entrepreneurship. This approach ensures that graduates are equipped to become ‘Future-Ready Leaders’.

The university has the best-equipped workshops furnished with real state-of-the-art industry machinery and equipment to offer students first-hand practical experiences in their fields of study, be it communication arts, computational sciences, engineering or business.
