Activa Foundation, a special purpose vehicle designed by Activa Group, a Pan African Insurance Group with subsidiaries in eight countries, has embarked on a number of Corporate Social Responsibility programmes to aid the community in which it operates.

Last year, as part of its 10th year anniversary, the Foundation made a call for project proposals from the general public. 

Out of the numerous proposals received, E & K Fashion won the top prize. Mr. Evans Munkoh founded E & K Fashion as an initiative to support underprivileged youth in his community to train them in skills mainly in the area of dress making and tailoring.

His project was selected due to its direct impact on the target group and the overall impact on the community of Agona Nkum in the Central Region of Ghana.

“Activa Foundation focuses on five key areas mainly Education, Health, Environment, Women and Children and has for the past 10 years, initiated and supported numerous projects in these five key areas across eight countries”, a statement released by the company said.

Activa International Insurance Ghana, a subsidiary of Activa Group, is licensed as a general Insurance Company providing insurance covers such as Motor, Special Motor for Women, Travel Insurance, Personal Accident, Activ’Lady Solutions for women businesses, Fire Insurance and other specialized policies for corporate institutions.
