The wife of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, paid a courtesy call on four prominent traditional rulers in Accra earlier today as part of the NPP’s ongoing engagement with key stakeholders ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh and her team were warmly received by Nii Doodo Insaki (Otublohum Mantse), Nii Ayikia IV (Akanmadji Mantse), Nii Niikoi Ola Amashie (Asere Djorshie Mantse), and Nii Ahene Nunoo (Abola Mantse).
In her interactions with the traditional rulers, Mrs Adade-Prempeh stressed the crucial role chiefs play in Ghana’s governance, recognising them as unifying forces within communities and key partners in the nation’s development.

She acknowledged the historical and cultural significance of the chieftaincy institution and reiterated the NPP’s deep respect for traditional leadership.
“The NPP government values the institution of chieftaincy and recognizes the important role it plays in our nation’s progress.
"A future Dr Bawumia-led administration will work to further strengthen this institution to meet the aspirations of our people,” she stated, underscoring the party’s commitment to supporting traditional leadership in Ghana.

Mrs. Adade-Prempeh was accompanied by a delegation, including NPP's Second Vice Chairperson, Madam Rita Asobayire, former Ledzokuku MP and former Deputy Health Minister, Dr Gladys Ashitey, Former Attorney General, Ayikoi Otoo, Deputy National Organiser, Chris Lloyd Nii Kwei, Deputy National Youth Organiser, Jay Hyde, and Odododiodio Constituency Parliamentary Candidate, Manaf Sowah.

The traditional rulers expressed gratitude for the visit, offering words of encouragement to Mrs. Adade-Prempeh and her team.
The warm reception reinforced the NPP’s message of hope and development as the party intensified its campaign ahead of the 2024 elections.

Mrs Adade-Prempeh thanked the chiefs for their leadership and pledged the party’s continued collaboration with traditional authorities to drive the country’s development forward.
