Aduana coach Ahmed Nureeden has resigned after only two matches in the Ghana Premier league.
Nureeden has overseen a disastrous start to the campaign with two defeats in two despite big name signings.
The Dormaa side lost their unbeaten home record to Wa All Stars in their opening home game of the season after a late Kofi Yeboah strike stunned them.
CEO of the club confirmed the resignation of the Ahmed Nureeden.
“I can confirm the coach has resigned following our poor start,” Commey told Asempa Sports.
“He has taken full responsibility for our start.”
Nureeden also confirmed his departure on Asempa Sports.
"That is the nature of the job. If things don’t work out for you, you will just have to resign."
"My reasons for resigning are personal but the coach must take blame for the poor performance of the players."
"We need teamwork to win matches not individual play."
Ahmed Nureeden is the first coaching casualty of the 2016 league season.
Aduana play Techiman City on matchday 3 this midweek.
