Provisional results from the Dome Kwabenya constituency in the Greater Accra region indicate NPP’s Adwoa Sarfo has a commanding lead in the race.
Even though voting has been adjourned in some 11 polling stations due to technical challenges with the verification machines, the anticipated results are not expected to affect her gains in the race.
Speaking to Joy News’ Election Headquarters, Adwoa Sarfo expressed confidence at the NPP’s win at both the presidential and parliamentary levels.
Expressing gratitude to her supporters and the entire party, she attributed her performance in the elections to hard work and dedication.
She was very optimistic of the NPP taking over the reign of power come January 7, 2013.
