General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has called the bluff of pressure group Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG)stating that it lacks credibility.AFAG has accused the NDC of receiving sponsorship from a Chinese company contrary to the Act 574 of the political party’s code.At a press conference in Accra Tuesday, AFAG said Chinese telecom infrastructure and device vendor, Huawei Techologies Ghana Limited has donated paraphernalia like t-shirts, key holders, and handkerchiefs to the ruling party ahead of the December general elections.AFAG is therefore calling for Huawei to be kicked out for dabbling in the country’s politics. But on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, Johnson Asiedu Nketia said a vibrant party like the NDC will not be stampeded by a political "neophyte" group like AFAG to react to a baseless accusation. He contended that the pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) is just doing the bidden of their pay masters hence the NDC will not allow itself to be drawn to it.General Mosquito added that hypocrisy and lies are the stock in trade of AFAG hence anything they say must not be taken serious. The NDC scribe noted that the ruling party is focused to win the elections to ensure the Better Ghana Agenda is completed.According to him, Ghanaians are appreciative of government’s effort to alleviate the hardships in the country in just three and half years and thus will vote massively for the NDC for a Better Ghana.General Mosquito was optimist that the NDC emerge winner of the election with a landslide victory.
