Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has admitted beating Angola to all three points on Thursday won't be an easy task.
Ghana face Angola in their opening game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Baba Yara Stadium hoping to keep their first-game record intact.
In the last two years, the two teams have met each other twice with the only win going for Ghana; a narrow 1-0 win in Kumasi.
Ahead of the game, Addo is aware of the challenge the Palancras Negras bring.
"I’m convinced that we can beat them, but it won’t be easy. And also we had some injuries, but I think the squad is ready," he said at Wednesday's presser.
"We have a lot of players who can match up. And surely on this way, I wish all the players who are injured, Kamaldeen, Gideon Mensah, Alexander Djiku and the rest so we have more which are injured and I wish them a speedy recovery and then we see how the season goes when they come back."
The game against Angola is scheduled for a 16:00 GMT kickoff.
