The Ghana para-cycling Association has called off the Africa Para cycling Championship which should have been held in Accra later this month.
The Association explains that six countries including Niger and Kenya which were expected to take part in the championship have all pulled out citing financial constraints.
This would have been Ghana’s first time of hosting the annual event.
The Ghana para-cycling team is preparing for next year’s London Olympic Games and Chairman Dennis Moore says the cancellation is disappointing.
