Africa World Airlines celebrated its 4 millionth passenger on October 31, 2023 at the Kotoka International Airport since the airline begun operations in 2012, reminiscing 11-years of positive customer experience.
Passenger Rodney Olusola Adewele, the 4 millionth passenger who checked in at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Nigeria was the surprise winner of a four transferable return tickets on all AWA networks.
He was presented with a memorable miniature aircraft by senior officials of Africa World Airlines.
Speaking at a mini durbar to welcome him at the arrival hall of Kotoka International Airport, Mr Adewele said, “ this has come to me as a surprise even though I am a frequent flyer and has flown 18 times since the beginning of the year with AWA due to the reliability and adherence to safety standards.”

He mentioned that AWA aspires to do more as a market leader to improve the welfare and safety of the traveling public.
“The journey to 4 million passengers has been incredible, but there is still much more to achieve,” he said.
