AfriMass Network has been announced as one of the official organisers for this year’s Ghana Digital and Innovation Week (GDIW 2025), a national event that celebrates Ghana’s progress in digital transformation and innovation.
As part of its role, AfriMass Network will host a major panel discussion titled the “Africa Media Ad Sales Innovation Summit” under the theme “Innovation and Sustainability: Unlocking Opportunities for Media Startups and the Digital Creator Economy.”
The session, according to AfriMass, will focus on how innovation and sustainable business models can help shape the future of Africa’s growing media industry.
It will also explore practical ways to boost media monetisation, support startups, and strengthen collaboration across Africa’s creative and digital ecosystems.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Raymond Smith, Founder and CEO of AfriMass Network, said the session will spotlight how innovation can transform the continent’s media and creative industries.
“Our participation in GDIW25 is a significant opportunity to highlight how innovation can transform Africa’s media and creative industries,” he said. “At AfriMass, we believe that sustainability in the digital economy depends on empowering startups and creators with the right tools, knowledge, and partnerships to scale their ideas.”
He added that the Africa Media Ad Sales Innovation Summit will offer participants practical guidance and strategies to help them thrive in a fast-changing digital environment.
“The summit aims to provide actionable insights and practical solutions to help emerging media entrepreneurs succeed in an increasingly digital and competitive space,” he explained.
Ghana Digital and Innovation Week, hosted by Impact Investing Ghana, is powered by the Venture Capital Trust Fund, GIZ, and other key partners, including the Ghana Chamber of Technology, Ashesi University, and the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP).
This year’s event will focus on strengthening Ghana’s innovation ecosystem while fostering collaboration among policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and digital innovators.
AfriMass Network’s session is being organised in partnership with NEIP, Maxwell Investments Group (MIG), Africa School of Entrepreneurship, Atunwa Digital, Newsroom Business Initiative (NBI), Empowerment Worship Centre, Global Entrepreneurship Festival, and the New Media Association of Ghana, with support from Pentecost University (Department of Communication Studies) and several corporate and media partners.
According to the organisers, AfriMass Network’s involvement underscores its dedication to empowering media professionals, promoting digital innovation, and driving sustainable growth across Africa’s creative economy.
