There is further bad news for Afriyie Acquah after his wife, Amanda was involved in a road accident in Germany where she has been holidaying for the past one month.
Details remain scanty but allsports.com.gh is reporting that Amanda suffered minor injuries in the accident. The wife of the Black Stars midfielder reportedly escaped major injuries, even though the vehicles involved were damaged.
Amanda had been in the news over the past one month following revelations she made in an audio recording that went viral condemning among others her former husband, Kennedy Agyepong (Kenpong) and his current mistress, Mona over several scandalous revelations.
She even got into trouble with Manhyia Palace who put her on the Asantehene's most wanted list for allegedly mentioning one, Otumfuo as one of several men Kenpong's wife, Mona reportedly was involved with.
Her national team footballer husband however came out to indicate that she meant another person called Otumfuo and not the Asantehene.
She has been in Germany whilst her husband battled for the Black Stars at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations which ended on a bitter note on Sunday as he missed a crucial kick in the penalty shoot-out as Ghana lost after he had excelled all tournament long and was adjudged man-of-the-match in the final.
The Black Stars midfielder left to Germany Tuesday night to finally be with his wife.
The 23-year-old footballer sent a tweet to assure all his fans that his wife is well and there is nothing to worry about.
Flying to Germany to spend time with my wife; she had a motor accident last week. She's resting comfortably! She's doing fine! Thanks to all
