The Association of Ghana Industries says it will push for gradual increases in utility tariffs as it re-engages the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission over its concerns.Government last Friday asked the PURC to re-engage labour and industry players over a possible review of the tariffs to ease the burden on consumers.AGI President Nana Owusu Afari tells Joy Business a gradual increase would ensure that industries do not collapse.“Nobody is saying that they shouldn’t increase tarrifs; that is not the position of AGI or the position of labour."What we are saying is that the hikes were too much. It will kill everything.
