Ghanaian Junior Agogo has been left out of Zamalek's squad for the Egyptian Premier League game against Ittihad on Saturday. The Cairo giants did not disclose the reason behind the Ghanaian striker's sudden omission. Agogo took part in Ghana's 2-2 draw with Egypt in Wednesday's friendly game. The 30-year-old has had run-ins with the Zamalek management and his exclusion is likely to push him out. Mahmoud Abdul-Razek 'Shikabala' was also overlooked following his bust-up with Zamalek fans during the stunning 1-0 defeat to Ghazl Mahalla earlier this month. Stand-in keeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef was excluded as Emad Al-Sayed is set to serve as Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed's backup. Zamalek will be looking to secure a much-needed win over Ittihad to allay fears over the unthinkable possibility of them being relegated to the second division.
