Mr Emmanuel Kwesi Dawood Mensah, Agona West Propaganda Secretary, who briefed the press at Agona Swedru on Sunday, said the executive of the constituency, sympathizers and entire members of the party became happy when the nomination of Mr Tetteh was announced last week.
He said the party members were ready to cooperate and work with him to ensure speedy development of the municipality.
Mr Mensah told the conference that the appointment had gone down well with the chiefs and expressed the hope that all factions would put their political differences aside and foster unity and understanding towards the promotion of the party.
The Propaganda Secretary said the members had confidence and trust in the nominee and they had pledged their unflinching support for him.
