The Ahafo-Ano North constituency of National Democratic Congress (NDC) is to hold its congress at Anyinasuso near Tepa on December 7 to elect a parliamentary candidate for the 2008 general election.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency at Tepa, Mr Maxwell Addai, Constituency Chairman named Mr Kwame Addai Amankwah, 40, a tutor at the Tepa Senior High School and Mr Emmanuel Antwi Barwuah, 53, Assistant Director of Education at the District Education Office at Tepa, as the two contesting candidates.
He said 192 polling station chairmen and secretaries, the constituency executive would constitute an electoral college for the election that would be supervised by officials of the Electoral Commission (EC).Source: GNA
