A 70-year old retired teacher has accused the founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) of defrauding him to the tune of GHC25, 000 under the pretext of selling a cocoa farm to him.
Opanin Kwaku Duah speaking on Nhyira FM in Kumasi claimed, he paid the amount to the political leader in 2012 after the two agreed that Akua Donkor would sell a cocoa farm to him.
He added that Akua Donkor issued a receipt to cover only the first installment of GHC10,000.
“She first gave me a receipt covering the first installment of 100 million [10,000 Ghana cedis], she then decided to give me a receipt covering the remaining 150 million [15,000 Ghana cedis] when she returns from a trip to Accra…” Opanin Duah said.
