The Victory 2012 Campaign Team of Nana Akufo-Addo has disassociated itself from former NPP Women Organiser of the Awutu/Senya Constituency in the Central Region, Ms. Suzzie Brew, who is alleged of extorting monies from party supporters in the region, using the name of Nana Akufo-Addo and other prominent members of the party under the pretext of supplying them cars on hire-purchase.
“We wish to inform all members of our Great Elephant Party, and indeed the general public that the said Ms. Suzzie Brew is not a member of the Victory 2012 Campaign Team nor is she in any way associated with our campaign” a statement issued by the team by Herbert Krapa, Press Aide to Nana Addo, said.
“We further wish to state categorically that Nana Akufo-Addo has in no way authorised Ms. Suzzie Brew to act on his behalf in any capacity whatsoever, much less in the extortion activities she is alleged to be involved in.”
The campaign team has therefore advised all persons to avoid any dealings with Ms. Suzzie Brew so far as the use of Nana Akufo-Addo’s name is concerned.
“We further wish to put all party members on a strict alert that under no circumstances should they deal with Ms. Suzzie Brew in so far as the use Nana Akufo-Addo’s name and the Victory 2012 Campaign is concerned.”
