President Akufo-Addo will attend the grand finale of the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
He is, for the first time, expected to address the audience at the competition in honour of NSMQ's 30th anniversary.
The much-anticipated final contest will come off on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the National Theater in Accra.
The 2023 finale is a battle of champions - all the finalists are not new to the finals and are eager to add another trophy to their collection.
The schools are two-time champions Opoku Ware School (OWASS), seven-time champions Presbyterian Boys Senior High, Legon (PRESEC), and two-time champions, Achimota School (MOTOWN).
This is MOTOWN's first finale in fourteen years, OWASS returns after three years and PRESEC graces the finale for the fifth time in a row.
PRESEC is hungry for an eighth trophy and OWASS for a third, whiles Achimota School hopes to win their third trophy also.
The stage is set for an electrifying showdown in the pursuit of the coveted NSMQ championship.
