Allianz Life Ghana is constantly putting in measures to ensure that its sales teams remain poised and excited to carry out their task.
One of the measures is the Annual Sales Awards ceremony.
For the past two years, the awards ceremony has been held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On February 17, 2022, the 2021 Annual Sales Awards ceremony came off in yet another exciting virtual session.
A total of 33 salespersons received awards for various categories.
For the mid-income stream, 15 Sales Executives were awarded for bringing in the 15 highest Gross Written Premiums (GWPs) for the year 2021.
They were Winfred Perseus Adorku , Eric Coffie, Mercy Darkwaa Aboagye, Isaac Appiah Owusu, Ebenezer Frimpong Owusu, Peter Karikari Addai and Kwadwo Takyi Ahenkan.
The rest were Sampson Djangmah, Sampson Oduro, Rita Appiah, Nana Kwasi Bondzie, Augustine Osei Brobbey, Abigail Akosua Ofori, Boateng Osei-Nyamekye and Micheal Mensah Edwinwere.
Two Team Leaders, Ebenezer Oduro and Eric Bimpong also received awards for bringing in the highest GWPs for the year.
Victor Thompson, Isaac Appiah, Elvis Yeboah and Samuel Ayisi Aboagye were awarded for the Sales Managers Category.
Roger Botchway was rewarded in the Junior Sales Category while Winfred Perseus Adorku, Linda Opoku-Agyemang, Peter Addai Karikari and Rita Appiah were given recognition for Highest Paypoint, Most Cases, Most Cases and Highest Risk respectively.
The Guest of Honour for the programme, Mr. Andrew Fiifi Simpson; Chairman of the Life Council, Ghana Insurers Association spoke on the theme: Sales Excellence in a Pandemic. He stressed the need for sales people to embrace and use technology to deliver insurance solutions and to rely on data to be successful
The CEO of Allianz Life Insurance, Gideon Ataraire congratulated all the award winners and assured them that their contributions to the growth of the company would continue to be celebrated.
He urged those who excelled to maintain their positions this year and encouraged others to work hard so that they are also celebrated.
The Chief Retail and Marketing Officer of Allianz Life, Jane Kitome, was optimistic that the sales force would continue to contribute to the revenue growth of the company.
She also launched the 2022 Sales League and the Agency Handbook during the awards ceremony.
