A passionate group of alumni from various universities in Ghana who share a common vision for fostering a stronger sense of unity, collaboration, and networking among our esteemed graduates is proposing an extraordinary event that we believe will create a monumental impact. It is a 10 kilometre walk on the University of Ghana’s campus on the 1st of December 2023. The event will be called the Alumni-Connect.
As proud alumni of Ghana’s diverse universities, we understand the importance of forging meaningful connections, both personally and professionally. The Alumni-Connect event aims to bring together graduates from all over the nation for a day of exercising, networking, shared experiences, and the opportunity to celebrate our contributions to our dear nation.
The objective is to bring together hundreds of alumni from all the universities in Ghana to connect, reconnect and create opportunities for themselves.
- Networking: To provide a platform for alumni from various universities to connect and establish valuable professional and personal relationships.
- Celebration: To celebrate our educational journeys and the contributions we have made to Ghana's development.
- Unity: To foster a sense of unity and solidarity among Ghana's academic community.
- Health and Wellness: To promote a healthy lifestyle through physical activity and outdoor engagement.
The highlights of the Alumni-Connect are as follows:
- Unity Walk: The event will kick off with a symbolic Unity Walk, where alumni from different universities will walk together as a symbol of our shared commitment to national development.
- Networking Opportunities: Structured networking sessions, alumni presentations, and knowledge-sharing discussions.
- Cultural Showcase: A showcase of the diverse cultural heritage of Ghana through food, music, and dancing.
- Health and Wellness Zone: Health check-ups (Prostrate and Breast Cancer screening), fitness activities, and wellness workshops.
Benefits
We believe the alumni of the universities will have the opportunity to extend their professional and social networks.

- A platform to contribute to national development initiatives.
The Alumni-Connect will not be merely an event; it will be a movement. We believe that by fostering strong alumni relationships, we can collectively contribute to Ghana's growth and development. We kindly request your support and partnership to make this vision a reality.
