The Wassa Amenfi East District Assembly is to develop tourism sites in the district, Madam Doris Gyapomah Oduro, the District Chief Executive, said on Wednesday.
She said in a New Year message that the sites to be developed included Bruso Lake, Akodaekrom Water Falls, Asabeadi rocks and the Snako Cocoa Nut Tree at Dompim.
Mrs Oduro said the sites would be developed at a great cost to attract tourists and to open up the area for investment and economic take-off of the district.
"These sites would change the fortunes of the district when they are fully developed".
