Ghana striker Matthew Amoah says he is fit enough to start in Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Benin.Amoah, one of the leading scorers in the Dutch top flight, has just recovered from injury he suffered while playing for his club NAC Breda.The forward says he has played in three club matches since recovering from the injury and he is ready to help the Black Stars to victory.
"I am feeling very good because I have played some game before coming home for this game," Amoah told Ghanasoccernet."I am feeling very good about my fitness and form at the moment and if I am given the chance to start I will deliver the goods for my country."We are all working very hard for this mission of going to the World Cup and we will do anything for the country."The Black Stars will play Benin in Kumasi on Sunday in their opening Group D qualifier.Ghana will also play Sudan and Mali in Group D of the qualifiers.Credit: ghanasoccernet
