The Awormefia of Anlo, Torgbui Sri III has expressed his profound gratitude to President John Mahama for appointing Alex Segbefia as the new Health Minister.
According to Torgbui Sri III, the decision to elevate Mr Segbefia to a Minister is a clear testimony of the President's desire to deliver on his promise of making health care accessible and affordable to Ghanaians.
The Paramount chief notes that Mr Segbefia has a rich experience in the field and would help the President's ambitions.
"I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to our President for remembering Volta Region again and for that matter elevating the son of the soil Hon Alex Segbefia", Torbgui Sri III said.

Mr Alex Segbefia was appointed the new Minister of Health Minister in recent ministerial shuffle, replacing Dr. Kwaku Agyeman Mensah - who is now the new Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing.
Mr Segbefia was deputy Defence Minister before the recent appointment.
