The National Youth Council {NYC} has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Great Commission Church International {GCCI}, also known as the Kristo Asafo Church, led by Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Sarfo, to set up and provide skills and vocational training for vulnerable youths, especially females to help provide them sustainable economic livelihood.
The focus will be on the youth who live at Agbogbloshie, Konkomba, Sodom and Gomorrah, all deprived communities in the Accra metropolis, as well as members of the National Porters Association.
Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Sarfo who sounded delighted about the move by government, told ASEMPA NEWS that he will do his best to impact his God-gifted knowledge to the youth, describing the venture as long over due.
Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo is credited with several innovations, including the production of vehicles and machine parts some of which are awaiting to be commercialized.
