The 2000 year group of Saint Augustine’s College in the Central region has commenced its 20th anniversary with a thanksgiving mass.
The event held at the Christ the King parish in Accra was to offer thanks to God for his protection since completing school.
Members of the year group including its President, Kofi Acolatse graced the occasion.
They prayed and gave offertory to thank God for heights attained by members of the year group.

Mr Acolatse in an interview was elated they have been able to find innovative ways to make the anniversary memorable in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic
"Even though due to Covid-19 we had to jettison most of our plans for our 20th this year, we had to find a way around this to celebrate this much excellence we have contributed as a year group to this generation,” he added.
Mr. Acolatse promised the 20th anniversary will be given the visibility it deserves.
Other activities to mark the anniversary include a global thanksgiving service to be held virtually on November 29, at 4 pm, a soccer night on December 5, at the Mary Mother of Good Counsel Church in West Airport.
There will also be the Green Rave event a night to celebrate excellence within the year group on December 19, 2020.
