Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the Founder of the Action Chapel International, has inaugurated the Next Generation Church Complex on the premises of the Church in Accra.
The facility, dedicated to nurturing young people in their faith and equipping them for leadership in the Kingdom, was unveiled at a special ceremony as part of the highlights of the Timely Intervention at the 2024 Impact Convention.
A statement issued in Accra by the Church said as with previous Impact Conventions, the final day concluded with an anointing and impartation service led by the Archbishop.
“As he prayed over the congregation, many fell under the power of the Holy Spirit, receiving fresh fire and empowerment for their assignments,” it said.
It said the Archbishop admonished participants that “As you leave, remember that you cannot relegate prayer to the background and experience God’s timely intervention.”
The statement said it was in the place of prayer that they gave heaven authorization to rule in the affairs of men.
“Continue to pray, continue to seek God’s face and watch as He intervenes in your life in mighty and powerful ways,” it added.
A major highlight of this year’s convention, when Emmanuel Mubanga, from Zambia received the news of his brother’s promotion at work just a day after the Convention.
Mr Mubanga said “God’s hand was definitely in it and it was no coincidence.”
“I live in Zambia, and I submitted prayer requests for my brother’s promotion at work. After Apostle Joshua Selman finished ministering during his last session, and following the declaration by Archbishop Duncan-Williams, my brother received an email informing him of his promotion,” he said.
Emmanuel’s testimony is one of many that reflects God’s timely intervention and for eight days, the Spintex branch of Action Chapel welcomed hundreds from all walks of life, hungry for an encounter with God.
Participants at the Dominion Arena, Action Chapel, lifting their voices and hearts in jubilant worship, celebrating the goodness and faithfulness of God.
Apostle Isi Igenegba opened the convention with a compelling message centered around the principle of sowing and reaping.
She said, “Time only responds to the seed and the sower, not to the one who consumes, so, before you can experience timely intervention, you need to ask yourself, as God asked Moses, “What is in your hand?”
The programme featured an impressive lineup of speakers, including regulars such as Apostle Joshua Selman, Rev. Eastwood Anaba, Rev. Dr. David Antwi, Bishop Bernard Ogyiri Asare, and first-timer Bishop Shekinah Oliver.
Each poured their wisdom and knowledge, weaving their teachings around the theme, “Timely Intervention.”
Whether it was a contemporary piece performed by Action Chapel’s Voices of Triumph, a traditional hymn led by singers from its affiliate churches, or an original delivered by guest artistes like Joe Mettle, every session added colour to the event and prepared hearts to receive the Word.
