Newly appointed Asante Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito has emphasized the need to build strong relationships with his players to ensure an upsurge in form.
Zito's appointment came after the club parted ways with Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, who was winless in their last four matches.
The Porcupines currently occupy the fourth on the table, six points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
"This time, it's not coaching they need," Zito said.
"They need me to be their father, they need me to be their friend, they need me as they are, and I have to come low to their level to get what I want."
Zito will make his debut on the touchline as Kotoko welcome Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium.
