The Executives of the African University College of Communications and Business (AUCB) Alumni Association have paid a courtesy call on the institution’s new Chancellor, Frank Adu Junior.
The meeting, held at the university’s main campus, marked the first formal engagement between the alumni leadership and the newly appointed chancellor.
Mr. Adu Jr., a distinguished banker and statesman, assumed office as the first Chancellor of AUCB following the university’s receipt of its presidential charter in late 2024. His appointment heralds a new era of growth and transformation for the institution.

On behalf of the Alumni Executive team, David Olaga, President of the AUCB Alumni Association, formally congratulated Mr. Adu Jr. on his appointment.
He expressed the association’s enthusiasm in working closely with the university’s leadership to support AUCB’s mission and strategic direction.
The meeting featured productive discussions centered on strategies to improve the university’s academic standards, infrastructure, alumni relations, and student experience. The alumni team also informed the Chancellor about an upcoming Alumni Meet and Greet event, aimed at deepening engagement between the school and its growing network of graduates.

Mr. Adu Jr. welcomed the visit and commended the alumni for their continued commitment to the university’s progress. He emphasized the vital role alumni play in shaping the institution’s legacy and pledged his support for closer collaboration moving forward.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to strengthen ties and initiate long-term partnerships that will benefit current students, faculty, and the broader AUCB community.
