Former Ghana international play maker Awudu Issaka has condemned certain players of the current Black stars team of being disrespectful and introverts.
The under-17 FIFA World Youth Championship in 1995 in Ecuador winner has labelled some of these players too proud and pompous because they fail to pay the necessary courtesies when they meet they the senior, past players.
“Whenever they meet some of the old ones they usually expect the old players like Osei Kofi and Mohammed Polo and the rest to bow to them whenever they meet which is very disrespectful and annoying, forgetting that those old players paved the way for their success today. Young players should look at the pioneers and reflect on their future because no one knows tomorrow and anything can happen.” he told Asempa Sports.
The "Disco Dancer” as he was popularly called had stints in Belgium, France and Germany, but failed to harness his potential to shine at the senior level internationally.
The 32 year old is currently in the country and hope to practice football administration soon.
