Heartland FC defender Aziz Ansah believes a good showcase in this year's Caf Champions League can earn him a national team call-up from head coach Milovan Rajevac. The 28-year-old has been a key member of the team since joining them from Asante Kotoko.Aziz was part of the Black Stars team at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations but failed to make the grades for the World Cup that same year. The right-back believes he has peaked and he's determined to work his way into the national team."When I went to Nigeria everybody think am finished but I proved that I can still play and can even do better than when I was in Kotoko," Aziz told Joy FM"Now we are playing in the Champions League and I have two goals, I'm a defender and I scored 8 goals in the Nigerian league so I have improved.""Every footballers dream is to help Black Stars because me I am praying that I will be part of the national team."Now this coach he doesn't know me so what I have to do is to work hard, play hard and I can make it to the national team. "Ansah was a member of Ghana's Under-20 team that won gold at the African Youth Championship in 1999 on home soil.Heartland FC are in Group B of the Champions League alongside Monomotapa, Etoile Sahel and TP Mazembe.Source: Ghanasoccernet.com
