FIFA has handed the trio of referees from Bahrain a second Ghana game in the on-going U-20 World Cup as they take charge of affairs when the Black Satellites face France at the Atatürk Stadium in Bursa on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bahraini trio led by centre man Nawaf Abdullah Ghayyath Shukralla directed affairs when the Black Satellites thrashed the USA 4-1 in the final group game in Kayseri. The impressive trio have already officiated in two games in the U-20 World Championship – Paraguay v. Mali and Ghana v. USA.
Referee Nawaf Shukuralla, a 36-year-old legal researcher would be assisted by usual suspects Yaser Tulefat and Ebrahim Saleh with Walter Lopez from Guatemala acting as the fourth official.
Croatia’s Leonal Leal has been placed on standby as a reserve assistant referee.
The Ghana v. France semi-final clash kicks off at 15:00 GMT in Bursa on Wednesday.
