The Managing Editor of the Al Hajj newspaper, Alhaji Bature has said the motivation for violence in the New Patriotic Party (NPP's) parliamentary primaries have already been sown by their flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.According to him, members of the NPP are putting into action what Nana Addo meant when he said “all die be die”.On Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Thursday, Alhaji Bature explained that Nana Addo thought his comments would scare the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) but he has done his party more harm than good.The NDC sympathiser said the Alan-Nana faction in the NPP has contributed to the mounting tension among the parliamentary aspirants in the upcoming primaries because the Alan faction believes the Nana Addo faction is being favoured.Alhaji Bature observed that Nana Addo’s “all die be die” comment has defeated his call during his tour to the various constituencies of the party for a peaceful primaries to ensure victory in 2012.Meanwhile MP for Upper Denkyira West and a panellist on the programme, Hon Benjamin Kofi Ayeh described the tension in the upcoming primaries as a sign of healthy competition in the party but urged all the aspirants to ensure a clean campaign for a peaceful primaries.The NPP MP noted that the party must unite for victory in 2012 because Ghanaians will never forgive the NPP if they lose the election.Story by: Adwoa Gyasiwaa/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
