Vice presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has said he will course his party’s victory in the three Northern Regions of Ghana in the December elections. In an interview with Joy FM's Anna Agyepong, Dr. Bawumia was confident that his northern roots will be a major factor in winning votes for the NPP.According to him, a recent enthusiastic reception he received while on tour of northern Ghana with flagbearer Nana Akuffo-Addo assured him of victory although he was expecting a tough contest from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).“…The response (in the Northern Region) has been quite enthusiastic and one that give us a lot of hope.
