Communications professor, Prof. Etse Sikanku, has expressed confidence in Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's ability to transform the country if he is elected as the next President of Ghana.
Speaking at the review of his book, *"Dr Bawumia and the Modern Vice Presidency,"* at the University of Ghana on Saturday, Prof. Sikanku highlighted Dr Bawumia’s dedication to excellence in every aspect of his work. He expressed confidence that this dedication would have a positive impact on the nation.
“With Dr Bawumia at the helm, his commitment to excellence will ensure that this nation maintains its heritage as a pacesetter, trendsetter, and shining star within the continent and the world,” Prof. Sikanku stated.
He further noted, “His dedication to excellence will allow this nation to reach its full potential. Ghana has always been a leader and has consistently set the pace for others to follow.”
Regarding policy, Prof. Sikanku observed that Dr Bawumia has consistently focused on implementing long-term strategies that will benefit future generations and leave a lasting legacy.
Prof. Sikanku added that, just as Ghana has been a pioneer in many fields, the country should now take bold steps to lead in digitalisation.
“Our nation has always been a leader. We were the first to gain independence and inspired the rest of the world. Within the digital space, we have the potential to become a continental leader by embracing digitalisation and technology, making Ghana a true pacesetter. Dr Bawumia has demonstrated that he possesses the brilliance, vibrancy, and spirit of excellence required to take Ghana to the next level,” he concluded.
