The Acting President of the Agona Traditional Council in the Ashanti Region, Nana Gyapa Ameyaw, has expressed the Council's strong confidence in the policies and "possibility mantra" of the Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Welcoming Dr Bawumia to Agona in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency on Wednesday on behalf of the Agona Traditional Council, Nana Gyapa Ameyaw, who is also the Chief of Bepoa, shared the Council’s admiration for Dr Bawumia's commitment to Ghana's development. He noted that this commitment was evident throughout Dr Bawumia’s presentation.

"As you have all seen, throughout his address, he focused solely on issues of development and his vision to move Ghana forward. He barely asked us to vote for him. His main focus and concerns were his development policies and how Ghana can progress," said Nana Gyapa Ameyaw.
The Chief, while commending Dr Bawumia's humility and decency, remarked that anyone who has experienced life in developed countries understands that what Bawumia is advocating for is indeed "possible."
"Everyone agrees that when it comes to humility, there is none like him. His statements are also progressive," said Nana Gyapa Ameyaw.

"Regarding his policies, anyone who has lived or travelled abroad knows that what Bawumia is championing and communicating to us is achievable."
He highlighted the impact of Dr Bawumia’s digitalisation initiatives, noting that, as someone who grew up in earlier times, he appreciates their significance. "For instance, my wife lives in Accra but teaches at Legon and internationally because of technology. She receives payments both in Ghana and abroad simultaneously. From Ghana, she participates in conferences held abroad."
"This reinforces the idea that everything Dr Bawumia is proposing is possible."
