The President, John Dramani Mahama, has charged graduates of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) to look for opportunities especially in the private sector as they go out.
He also advised them to be employers and not employees with a call on them to take full advantage of the knowledge acquired in the school.
The President who buried his mother Friday, June 17, made this call when he addressed the maiden congregation of the UENR in Sunyani, Saturday.
The University which was established by an Act of Parliament in 2011 and inaugurated in November 2012 with 154 students, awarded bachelor's degrees to 174 graduates with six first class.
President John Mahama who later commissioned a new lecture block charged the students to take on the world and create employment.
