Pollster and Editor of the Daily Dispatch Newspaper, Ben Ephson is raising red flags about what he says is the seeming secrecy about the process to amend sections of the constitution of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The party goes to congress on Friday and has already made public a number of proposed amendments to its constitution.
Apart from an expansion of the Electoral College, the party would also consider proposals for a change in the name of the position of Propaganda Secretary.
There are also plans to tighten qualification criteria to make long service, for instance, a pre-requisite for people aspiring to contest executive positions.
But in an interview with Joy News on Wednesday, Mr Ephson said decisions leading to the exercise have not been all-involving.
“It just falls in line with politics and has always been decisions by the few imposed on the many.
“The NDC’s is not as transparent in terms of the main amendments that they are going to undertake,” he stressed.
