Bonsu takes over from Mary Byrne, whose leadership has been pivotal in building Olympics.com and expanding OCS’s content operations.
A familiar name within the Olympic ecosystem, Bonsu has spent the last five years helping shape the editorial direction of OCS through major Olympic milestones, including the Beijing 2022 and Paris 2024 Games, while gearing up for the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026, Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, and Los Angeles 2028.

Known for her dynamic approach to storytelling and digital growth, Bonsu has played a central role in driving engagement across platforms. She has championed strategies that make Olympic stories more accessible and relevant to global audiences, combining data-driven insights with a strong editorial vision.
Her experience spans content strategy, SEO, and audience development, as well as forging key commercial partnerships that align with the Olympic Movement’s mission.
Beyond her professional achievements, Bonsu has been an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and cultural representation in sports media: qualities that have shaped her leadership style and global outlook.
In her new role, she will oversee all content teams at OCS, ensuring their output reflects the values of the Olympic Movement and supports the International Olympic Committee’s broader strategic priorities.
Bonsu’s appointment marks a new chapter for OCS as it continues to evolve its digital storytelling to inspire audiences around the world.
