Englishman Steve Polack has agreed to part ways with defending league champions Berekum Chelsea after Sunday’s shock 1-0 defeat at home to Medeama, according to GHANAsoccernet.com.
The 50-year-old arrived last month for a second spell but struggled to grind out results.
His side laboured to draw with Mighty Jets in their league opener and left it late to edge Liberty at home before a 0-0 draw with Hearts of Oak.
However, he made a bright impression before the start of the season by winning the maiden GHALCA Glo G8 trophy.
“We met him after the match and he has understood to leave the club. We thank him for his services during the period,” Chelsea Chief Executive Obed Nketiah told www.berekumchelsea.com
“We hope to work together again in future.”
Chelsea are ninth on the league table after managing five points from the available 12 points.
